  How Do I Order A Gift Basket?  
 

There are several ways.  You can order online at www.cesta.net, send an e-mail to info@cesta.net, by telephone at 1-800-755-2146, 619-722-6893.

While shopping, when you find the perfect gift click on the [Buy It] button to place that item in your shopping cart.  You then can checkout or continue shopping.

When you are ready to checkout, click on [Checkout].  Verify the items in your shopping cart, select the shipping method you prefer and if you are sending your gift to an address different from your billing address, be sure to check the [Shipping Address Box] located above and to the left of the [Card Message Box]. Then, select your payment method, and click the [Finalize Order] button.  You are then sent to a Secure Page where you will fill out the billing, shipping and credit card information.  With that completed, click the [OK] button.  Your order will be immediately sent to our store computer for processing.  You will also get an order confirmation online and by e-mail.  PLEASE PRINT THIS OUT FOR YOUR RECORDS.

 
     
  Can I Place An Order Over The Phone?  
 

Absolutely!  Call us Monday through Friday from 7am (PST) to 6pm (PST) and we'll be happy to assist you.

 
     
  Can I Specify A Message for a Gift Card When Ordering Online?  
 

Yes!  Just fill in your message in the Card Message box on the order form.  The best thing is the sky's the limit!  You can write a message that's as long as you like.  All gift cards are handwritten for that extra personal touch and we carry several different sizes.

 
     
  Does Cesta Charge Sales Tax?  
 

If you are shipping/delivering into the state of California, there will be sales tax based on the current state rate charged on your purchase.

 
     
  I'm Getting An Error When I Try To Place An Order. What Should I Do?  
 

Please call us at 1-800-755-2146.  The Internet and computers can be fickle and there may be any number of reasons why you are receiving error messages.  If you are trying to place an order from your office, it is possible that a company firewall is installed that will not allow you to do so.

 
     
  What Methods Of Payment Do You Accept?  
 

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and ATM cards with the Visa or MasterCard symbol.

 
     
  Are Credit Card Transactions On Cesta.net Safe?  
 

Completely! In fact, it's statistically safer to use your credit card over the Internet than in a restaurant or department store.  Cesta.net's servers use current Internet security technology to encrypt order information through the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.  We take this process one step further by processing credit card authorizations directly at our store, rather than using a real time third party provider over the Internet.

 
     
  Why Would My Credit Card Be Declined If There Are Sufficient Funds In My Account?  
 

In order to protect our customers from fraudulent transactions, the billing address you list on your order must match the address that your credit card company sends your statement to.  If the billing address listed on your order differs from your bank's records, you could be declined.  Please verify that your credit card account information is correct and matches that of your credit card company to ensure that they have your most up-to-date information.

 
     
  When Do You Charge My Credit Card?  
 

Your credit card is charged on the day your gift is shipped or delivered.  To provide you with the highest security possible we do not process credit card charges on line. All charges are manually processed in our store.

 
     
  How Do I Get A Copy Of An Invoice For My Order?  
 

If we have your email address, we will email you a copy of your invoice within one week of the order going out.

 
     
  Do You Include An Invoice With Gift Items?  
 

No. We do not include any invoices or packing slips on gift orders.

 
     
  What If I Want To Change A Few Items In A Basket?  
 

Making sure you get the gift you want is a number one priority. You can make changes to a basket online by entering those changes in the [Preferred Arrival Date/Special Requests] box of our order form or by calling us at 1-800-755-2146. Please keep in mind that some of our gift baskets are drop-shipped from another source (fruit, wine, and a few other baskets) so we are unable to make substitutions on those gift baskets.

  What If Cesta Is Out Of An Item, Will They Substitute?  
 

Yes. In the event that we are out of a particular item we will only put in its place an item that is of equal or greater value and similar in nature without compromising the overall design, theme, color and quality of the gift basket.

 
     
  After I Order, How Long Does It Take To Ship/Deliver The Gift Basket?  
 

We make every effort to ship out gift baskets same day, however, that's not always possible. Please allow 4-5 business days to the East Coast, 3-4 business days to the Mid West, and 1-3 business days to the West Coast. During the busy Holiday Season shipping usually takes longer.

  How Much Does Shipping Cost?  
 

You can find the shipping rates by selecting the gift of your choice and clicking the [Buy It] button.  The shipping rates will be presented in the shopping cart. Hit your browsers back button to continue shopping or the shopping carts [Cancel] button.  No order will be placed unless you click on Finalize Order.

When considering our shipping and delivery charges, particularly those for Next, 2nd and 3 Day Air, keep in mind that our gifts can be quite large. To ensure arrival in perfect condition they are packed into heavy duty cardboard boxes with plenty of packing materials to eliminate shifting during transport.

Air prices are based upon the gifts dimensional weight once packed. UPS and FedEx charge for dimensional weight not actual weight when shipping by any level of air service.  When compared to the average $15 cost of a flat 9x12 UPS Next Day letter of 2-lbs, an average charge of $30 for shipping a 5-lb basket in a bulky protective box by 2nd day air is reasonable.

 
     
  Can I bill my shipping charges to my UPS or FedEx account number?  
 

Yes! We're happy to ship your gifts using your UPS or FedEx account number. A $4.00 shipping and handling fee will be added to your order for each gift sent using your account number.

 
     
  When Will My Gift Basket Arrive?  
 

We ship most of our gift baskets from San Diego, CA.  UPS Ground arrival times vary depending on the state your gift is going to.  To see exact UPS Ground transit times click here to view our Shipping Map.

For UPS Ground Shipments Please Allow Approximately:
4 - 5      Business Days to the East Coast/The South
3 - 4      Business Days to the Midwest

When ordering, keep in mind that UPS does not offer package pick up on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays. Saturday delivery is available through UPS or FedEx by shipping Next Day Air Red Label on Fridays only plus an additional $15.00 Saturday Delivery fee on top of Next Day Air charges.

  Does Cesta Offer International Shipping?  
 

Sorry. At the current time, we are not shipping outside of the U.S. We have an affiliate in Canada, should you need gifts delivered throughout Canada.

 
     
  What about shipments to Alaska and Hawaii?  
 

Gifts going to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped via UPS Next Day and 2nd Day Air only.
UPS Ground and 3 Day Select are not available to these states. Like international destinations, we are unable to process correct shipping prices for these destinations online as shipments will vary by weight and location. We will call you with the correct shipping charges or you may call Customer Service at 1-800-755-2146 or 619-722-6893.

  What If My Order Is Returned Or Cancelled?  
 

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If there is a problem, please notify us as immediately upon receipt of merchandise, retaining all products and shipping materials. Shipping fees and delivery costs are not refundable. We reserve the right to request that an unsatisfactory item be returned to us prior to replacement. If a gift basket is returned because recipient failed to pick it up from UPS, FedEx or P.O., there is a 25% restocking fee charge. If an order is cancelled once the gift basket(s) is made, there is a 25% restocking fee charge.

 
     
  What If I Need Several Of The Same Basket Sent To Different Addresses?  
 

We prefer to receive these orders by E-mail at info@cesta.net in the form of an Excel
spreadsheet or by phone at 1-800-755-2146.

 If you would like to place the order online do the following:
Choose your basket by clicking on the [Buy It] button.  When the shopping cart comes up change the quantity from [1] to the quantity you need.

Go to the bottom of the Shopping Cart, click the [Recalculate Button] then the [Finalize Order] button.  On the following page in the [Preferred Arrival Date/Special Requests] box enter any instructions and the additional addresses you would like the baskets sent to.

You will receive an e-mail confirmation from our Shopping Cart as well as an additional e-mail confirmation from customer service listing all addresses, gift choices, special requests, arrival dates and instructions.

 
     
  What Does It Mean When There Is More Than One Price For A Gift Basket?  
 

Many of our gift baskets are available in Small, Medium and Large sizes. All baskets contain each item listed in the description.  However, as the price lowers, we accommodate that lower price by using items that are smaller in volume.  For example, the largest of a particular basket contains 8oz of salmon, the medium contains 6oz and the small would contain 4oz.

 
     
  What Size Are The Items In The Gift Baskets?  
 

At Cesta, we believe you deserve the best in quality and value and use only full size products in our gift baskets.   This means that unlike other basket companies, where you may get a basket full of 1oz packages containing 1 cookie or 2 crackers, we use only high quality product that on average is 5oz or more per package.

 
     
  When do you make the gift basket? Do you make them ahead and store them?  
 

We take great pride in our products and make all of our gift baskets at the time they are ordered.  While this can mean more work for us, it insures that you receive the freshest most delicious product at all times.
